Drone video for property developers and new builds

Project, construction and pre-sales

Selling a project that is still on paper or under construction means showing the final result from day one. We film the site and its progress, and overlay the future project onto the real location.

Selling off-plan with real footage

With a new build, buyers sign without being able to see their home. What you can show is the place: access, services, orientation, views and neighbourhood. Aerial video places the development in its real setting from day one, and motion graphics can overlay the project on the plot.

That is what we did for Verco (Grupo Enhol) in Tudela and Zaragoza: sales videos that explain the location of each development and, in San Nicolás, the three phases of the scheme on the real image.

Promotional video for new developments

A promotional video for a new development has to sell something that does not exist yet. We build it with what does exist: the plot, the views from the height of each floor, the access roads, the schools and services nearby, and the project overlaid with motion graphics.

It is used on the development website, at the sales office, on property portals and in campaigns from the first day of sales, and updated with real footage as construction moves forward.

Construction progress tracking

We film progress regularly from the same points to build a before and after that keeps investors and buyers informed, documents the works and sells the next phase.

What's included

  • Aerial footage of the plot or site and its surroundings: access, services and orientation
  • Motion graphics to overlay the project, phases or data on the real image
  • Regular construction progress footage from the same points
  • FPV tour of the finished building, common areas and show homes
  • Versions for the development website, portals, sales office and social media
  • Flight permits and third-party liability insurance

How we work, step by step

  1. 01

    We review the project

You send the site plan, renders or phases and tell us where you are in the sales process. That decides what to show: location, progress or finished product.

  2. 02

    We study the site

We check the airspace (urban areas and sites near airports often have restrictions) and fix the filming points, which stay the same on every visit if there is progress tracking.

  3. 03

    Filming on site

We coordinate with the site manager to fly without interfering with cranes or works and following site safety rules.

  4. 04

    Editing and delivery

We edit the piece with the project graphics and deliver in around 10 working days on average, with the versions each channel needs.

San Nicolás development — Tudela

Case study: San Nicolás development by Verco (Grupo Enhol) in Tudela

The development sits in the old town, between party walls. From street level you cannot understand the scheme or how it relates to the neighbourhood, and it is built in three phases.

We used aerial shots that open up the frame and, with motion graphics, marked each phase on the real image. The video works both as sales material and as progress tracking for the developer. For Verco we also filmed the Phase 1 development in Tudela and Prudencio 10 in Zaragoza.

Permits, insurance and safety

We are an AESA-certified drone operator (the Spanish aviation safety agency) and every operation is covered by third-party liability insurance. Flight permits and notifications are handled by us and included in the quote.

On site we follow the construction safety rules and coordinate cranes, machinery and staff with the person in charge. Urban sites often require advance coordination, so give us some notice.

Developers & Builders: frequently asked questions

Can you film before construction starts?

Yes. Filming the plot and its surroundings before works begin is the most useful thing for pre-sales: it shows location, views and orientation, and the project can be overlaid with motion graphics.

How often is construction progress filmed?

Usually on a regular schedule throughout the works, always from the same points so progress can be compared clearly. The frequency is adapted to each project.

Do you also film the finished building inside?

Yes. At the end of the works we can film an FPV tour of the common areas and homes, which helps sell the last units and showcases the builder.

Do you work outside Navarra?

Yes, anywhere in Spain. We have filmed developments in Tudela and Zaragoza and travel to any site with the full team.
